UEM Sunrise Extends Its First Hospitality Service via Hyatt House Kuala Lumpur, Mont’Kiara in Malaysia

Digital Media: UEM Sunrise Berhad extends its first hospitality service via Hyatt House Kuala Lumpur, Mont’Kiara (“HHKL”) with a symbolic ribbon cutting ceremony during the soft opening of the hotel today. The Company’s inaugural venture into the hospitality industry, marks Hyatt’s triumphant entry into the extended-stay hotel segment in Malaysia and in the Southeast Asian region. Designed by London-based and world-renowned architectural firm, Foster+Partners, the 298-room HHKL Mont’Kiara comes with apartment styled Den; Studio; One Bedroom; and Double Bedroom Suites; offering a home-like hospitality that encourages guests to live like residents by keeping to their usual life routines. HHKL Mont’Kiara is one of the five components of Arcoris Mont’Kiara and an integral part of UEM Sunrise’s mixed-development project with total GDV of RM1.2 billion.


Full Release: KUALA LUMPUR, 6 December 2018 - UEM Sunrise Berhad (“UEM Sunrise” or the “Company”), one of Malaysia’s leading property developers and master developer of Iskandar Puteri, together with Hyatt Hotels Corporation, opened the doors of its first Hyatt House Kuala Lumpur, Mont’Kiara – the first hotel in Malaysia and in the Southeast Asian region today.


A first for UEM Sunrise, the four-star extended-stay Hyatt House Kuala Lumpur, Mont’Kiara marks a new chapter for the developer in the hospitality industry in its move to expand and diversify its business portfolio. The luxurious extended-stay hotel is the first Hyatt House hotel in Malaysia and is an integral part of UEM Sunrise’s Arcoris Mont’Kiara mixed development.
