Malcolm X – an American Muslim minister and human rights activist who was a popular figure during the civil rights movement – once said that “Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today”. On 12 and 13 April 2019, UEM Sunrise organised a PT3 Phase 1 Examination Seminar in the Southern Region to help students in four of its PINTAR Adopted Schools prepare for tomorrow.
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative in collaboration with Berita Harian, UEM Sunrise conducted the two-day seminar at Dewan Sri Bestari, SMK Gelang Patah, Johor Darul Ta’zim.
250 students from four PINTAR Adopted Schools, namely SMK Gelang Patah, SMK Kompleks Sultan Abu Bakar, SMK Taman Nusa Jaya and SMK Tanjung Adang participated in the examination seminar. The programme is aimed at supporting the schools in elevating the academic performance of their students and subsequently achieving the desired results.
The seminar focused on four core examination subjects, namely Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mathematics and Science and was conducted by experienced teachers, while the relevant reference and exercise materials were provided by Berita Harian.
Thank you and have a nice day.
