700 triathletes put their bodies on the line by running, swimming and cycling to push the limits of human endurance at the third edition of Southeast Asia’s most renowned global triathlon, Challenge Iskandar Puteri 2018!
Representing Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, Japan and Hungary among others, the triathletes of varying ages converged on Puteri Harbour, Iskandar Puteri from the 15th to 16th of September 2018 to participate in a series of continuous and sequential endurance races.
With more than 1,300 supporters cheering on the triathletes, the pinnacle of Challenge Iskandar Puteri 2018 – the Main Race, saw the triathletes swimming for 1.9KM swim, pedalling for 90 KM and running for 21 KM while the Kids Race was equally competitive, divided into various distances based on age levels (6 to 15 years old).
The main race ceremonies (flag off and prize giving) were graced by Mr. Abdul Malik Ismail, Johor Tourism Director; in the presence of YBhg. Dato’ Roslan Ibrahim, Chief Operating Officer, Development, UEM Sunrise and Tuan Haji Adib Azahari bin Daud, Mayor, Iskandar Puteri City Council.
