It was a gigantic playground of celebration as more than 70,000 visitors came out to play at Puteri Harbour, Iskandar Puteri, Johor for Iskarnival Main-Main from the 8^th to the 9^th of December 2018. Organised for the seventh time by UEM Sunrise and held to commemorate Iskandar Puteri’s one-year anniversary as a city, Iskarnival Main-Main provided the perfect platform for innovation, education and creativity, encouraging local initiatives and talents to showcase and share ideas on the theme of play for all ages.

Also spotted during the Iskarnival Main-Main VIP Walkabout were UEM Sunrise’s Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer En. Anwar Syahrin Abdul Ajib, in the presence of Iskandar Puteri City Mayor YBhg. Dato’ Haji Adib Azhari Daud; Information, Entrepreneurship Development, Cooperatives and Creative Economy Committee chairman (exco member) Yang Berhormat Syeikh Umar Bagharib Ali and Yang Berhormat Mohd Khuzzan Abu Bakar, State Youth, Sports and Culture Committee chairman (exco member).

Among the main highlights at Iskarnival Main-Main were performances by Zee Avi, the United States-based singer-songwriter whose fourth album is expected to be launched in early 2019, Lyia Meta, who recently made Malaysia proud when she was named World Music Artist Of The Year at the 2018 Josie Music Awards in the United States and rapper Joe Flizzow, who won the Best South-East Asia Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2018 in Spain. Other musical highlights included performances by indie band Hujan, rap and R&B sensation Zamaera as well as Man Bai, known for his self-titled debut solo album, Kau Ilhamku in the 90s, accompanied by Rahim Maarof.
