On 28 and 29 November 2019, UEM Sunrise concluded a successful media familiarisation visit at its The Maris Desaru Coast Sales Gallery in Bandar Penawar, Johor with Central and Southern media members. The familiarisation visit was held to share UEM Sunrise’s vision and mission with the media members as well as the latest updates on its plans in Desaru and Johor for 2020.

On Day 1, Kenny Wong Koon Keng personally welcomed the media members at The Maris Desaru Coast Sales Gallery before Jeff Saw Seong Keat and Ashraf Othman conducted the project development presentation. The presentation was also witnessed by Mohamed Rastam Shahrom, Zamri Yusof, Emilia Azyyati Abdul Rahman, Mawarid Zamzam and other Titans.

Later that evening, Anwar Syahrin Abdul Ajib hosted dinner for the media members at Lotus Seafood Restaurant in Jalan Desaru before conducting a special media conference.

On Day 2, Shirley Tan and Ashraf Othman brought the media members on a tour of The Maris Desaru Coast show units, explaining more on its layout, aesthetics, environmentally friendly and unique features, and more. Overall, the media members from The Edge, The New Straits Times, Berita Harian, Harian Metro, iProperty.my, The Star, The Malaysian Reserve, iProperty.my (Johor), The Iskandarian, and Sin Chew Daily Johor found the familiarisation visit and engagement really exciting, agreeing that at The Maris Desaru Coast, one can really "Live the Dream of a Never ending Holiday"!
