We are pleased to share that UEM Sunrise participated in the 9^th World Urban Forum (“WUF9”) 2018, organised by URBANICE Malaysia, a centre of excellence set under the Ministry of Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government in collaboration with the UN-Habitat. Themed “Cities 2030, Cities for All : Implementing the New Urban Agenda”, it was held from 7 to 13 February 2018 at the KL Convention Centre in Kuala Lumpur, to discuss the world’s rapid urbanisation and its impact on communities, cities, economies, climate change, sustainability and policies.

Kuala Lumpur was the second city in Asia that hosted the World Urban Forum after Nanjing, China in the year 2008. The launch ceremony of WUF9 was graced by the Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak where guests were presented with a special showcase that depicted Malaysia’s diversity and inclusiveness via artistic performances and cultural dances.
