On the 12th of November 2018, UEM Sunrise organised a High-Profile Policing Programme involving the Kuala Lumpur Police Contingent at Publika Shopping Gallery, Kuala Lumpur.
The Programme was made possible through a collaboration between Police Contingent Kuala Lumpur, Sentul District Police (Crime Prevention & Community Safety Department) and UEM Sunrise’s Auxiliary Police Unit.
The objectives of the Programme were to educate the community on their responsibility in preventing crime and being aware of crime trends by approaching them directly and distributing crime prevention leaflets. The leaflets contained detailed information on the Royal Malaysian Police’s (PDRM) e-Reporting systems, "Volunteer Smartphone Patrol" (VSP) Application and Online Review System (SSO), PDRM’s new initiatives for enhancing police services in the community.
The Kuala Lumpur Police Contingent was led by Kuala Lumpur Police Chief, Commissioner Police (CP) YBhg. Datuk Seri Mazlan Lazim in the presence of UEM Sunrise’s Head of Strategy and Corporate Affairs, En. Zadil Hanief Mohamad Zaidi; General Manager – Security Department, Tuan Redzuan Shawaluddin and General Manager – Retail Management, Mr. Devamanokaran Poonagasu.
