On 27 February 2018, UEM Sunrise had a session with the media to announce the Company’s financial results for the financial year ended 31 December 2017, that recorded a revenue of RM2.9 billion, up by 58% and almost doubled its profits compared to previous year, supported by strong local and international property development activities.

The total revenue for 2017 increased to RM2,903.4 million from RM1,841.5 million in 2016, while PATANCI increased approximately 90% to RM280.1 million from RM147.3 million in 2016.

The event was held at UEM Sunrise Property Showcase in Mont’Kiara, Kuala Lumpur on 27 February 2018. The announcement was made by En. Anwar Syahrin Abdul Ajib, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of UEM Sunrise and En. Mohamed Rastam Shahrom, Chief Financial Officer of UEM Sunrise was also present.

At the same event, En. Anwar also announced the Company’s plan to launch new projects in 2018 with a Gross Development Value of RM1.0 billion, mainly comprising mid-market products. The Company plans to remain prudent in its targets for 2018 despite exceeding its 2017’s sales target. For 2018, UEM Sunrise’s sales target remains at RM1.2 billion.
