UEM Sunrise has won Bronze (Property Development) at the Putra Brand Awards 2018 Presentation Ceremony and Gala Dinner held at the Majestic Hotel, Kuala Lumpur on the 26^th of October 2018.

The awards, also known as the People’s Choice Awards, was organised by the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Malaysia in collaboration with Star Media Group. It determines Malaysia’s favourite brands within multiple categories with each category being awarded a gold, silver or bronze for the most preferred brands.

Mr. Kenny Wong, Chief Marketing Officer, represented UEM Sunrise in collecting the Bronze (Property Development) Award at the ceremony. A total of 40 gold, 43 silver and 58 bronze awards across 23 categories were presented to deserving brands as voted on by consumers. Also present at the ceremony were representatives from various industry players.

On the 29^th of November 2018, UEM Sunrise also won a Merit Award for Design Excellence at the Malaysian Institute of Planners Planning Excellence Awards 2018 (MIPPEA) Gala Dinner held at the Majestic Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

The MIPPEA acknowledges efforts, projects and initiatives which are able to respond to the current planning issues and challenges as well as market needs. It is part of the Malaysian Institute of Planners’ effort to encourage town planners to move towards highest planning excellence by demonstrating excellent practices, leadership and achievement in planning and the planning profession. The MIPPEA is a platform recognising distinguished Planners that portray great leadership and Organisations set examples and contribute a great deal to the planning fraternity and community development as a whole.

This year, UEM Sunrise’s Gerbang Nusajaya: A Vibrant Gateway to Iskandar Malaysia achieved the Merit Award for Design Excellence (Above 500 Acres). En. Badrol Hisham Mohd Taib, Deputy General Manager – Director Southern 2, represented UEM Sunrise in collecting the award. Also in attendance were planners and various property industry players.
