We are pleased to share that UEM Sunrise won multiple awards at the recent PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards, including the 2018 Real Estate Personality Of The Year which was bestowed to the Company’s Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, En. Anwar Syahrin Abdul Ajib.

Presented by Kohler and PropertyGuru, the Asia Property Awards 2018 Presentation Ceremony and Gala Dinner was held at the InterContinental Kuala Lumpur on 26 April 2018. It was graced by representatives from various property developers and industry players. The awards presentation aimed to recognise outstanding real estate developments, where together, these companies represent the best of the industry as selected by its leaders.

UEM Sunrise also won the Best Mixed Use Development Award and the Highly Commended Award (Best Green Development) for Almás @ Puteri Harbour. En. Mohamed Rastam Shahrom, Chief Financial Officer and En. Zadil Hanief Mohamad Zaidi, Head of Strategy & Corporate Affairs also represented UEM Sunrise in receiving the awards for the evening.

The 2018 Real Estate Personality Of The Year Award was accorded to En. Anwar in recognition of his significant impact as a respected leader, elevating the Malaysian real estate sector and related fields by building and delivering world-class projects. The award is also an acknowledgement of En. Anwar's strong guidance and leadership in helping UEM Sunrise achieve success over the years.

In receiving the award, En. Anwar emphasised that the award truly belongs to all at UEM Sunrise who have worked tirelessly for the organisation. He reiterated that being passionate about customers’ happiness is something UEM Sunrise takes seriously and hoped that all Titans will continue working hard to build happy communities for the country.
