UEM Sunrise has won three awards at the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Presentation Ceremony and Gala Dinner held at the Majestic Hotel, Kuala Lumpur on 12 April 2019. Presented by Kohler and PropertyGuru, the Asia Property Awards 2019 was graced by representatives from various property developers and industry players. The awards presentation aimed to recognise outstanding real estate developments, where together, these companies represent the best of the industry as selected by its leaders.

Residensi Solaris Parq and Gerbang Nusajaya achieved the Highly Commended Best High End Condo (Klang Valley) Award and Highly Commended Best Township Development (Iskandar) Award respectively, with Mr. Liong Kok Kit, Director – Central 2 and En. Mohd Hasreen Jaafar, Deputy Senior Manager, Development – Southern 2 receiving the awards on behalf of UEM Sunrise. UEM Sunrise was also announced the winner of the Special Recognition for Building Communities Award, with Mr. Kenny Wong Koon Keng, Chief Marketing Officer, representing UEM Sunrise to receive the award.

On 21 April 2019, UEM Sunrise’s property management arm, SCM Property Services Sdn Bhd, won another three awards at the EdgeProp Malaysia’s Best Managed Property Awards 2019 Presentation Ceremony and Gala Dinner held at the One World Hotel, Selangor. Representatives from various property developers and industry players attended EdgeProp Malaysia’s Best Managed Property Awards 2019, which was presented by EdgeProp.my. The awards presentation’s objective was to promote sustainable real estate in Malaysia through recognition of Malaysia’s best managed property practices and properties in Malaysia designed and built for sustainability.

The Silver Award for Below 10 years Multiple-Owned Strata Residential Category was awarded to Verdi Eco-dominiums, with Cik Nurul Adila Raja Dzulkifli, Verdi Eco-dominiums Residential Manager and Mr. Paul Richard, General Manager – Property & Facilities Management, collecting the award on behalf of UEM Sunrise. Mont’Kiara Astana was declared the Gold Winner for Above 10 years Multiple-Owned Strata Residential Category, with Pn. Syazanna Lim Abdullah, Mont’Kiara Astana Management Committee Member and Mr. Andrew Tan, Assistant Building Manager, representing UEM Sunrise to receive the award. Mont’Kiara Pelangi was also declared the Gold Winner for Above 10 years Multiple-Owned Strata Residential Category, with En. Farouk Zahir, Mont’Kiara Pelangi Chairman, accompanying En. Anwar Syahrin Abdul Ajib, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, to collect the award for UEM Sunrise.
